Gun violence and background checks

How many of the mass murderers used guns that were bought without a background check? None. How many gang and criminal killings have been committed with black market guns? Practically all. More background checks won't help. Having the CDC work to understand violence is the only thing that has the potential to help in the long run. Video games, Star Wars, The Hunger Games, Revenant. Need I say more? Whether we want to admit it or not, we are a violent society. That has to change.
